The New African Independence Movement was formed in the late 60s and early 70s. In 1969, some people argued that having a provisional government was premature. That split eventually allowed E. Mario Baddelli to become the key leader within the movement. On the other side, Cho Guegueva Lumumba and Dara Abu Bakari had to figure out how they were going to work together.
