Revision is not in very many scientists' blood, let's say. In certain fields where deadlines come fast and repeatedly throughout the year, it is sometimes even challenging to incorporate it into the normal research process. My real hope with this revision process is not that people will use it to create perfect texts because those don't exist. Most of us feel really persistent anxiety about sharing our work. We all feel that way. Everything send on a manuscript is one of the hardest psychological things that we do.
