The Death of a Donor
Doris Stauffer's son Jim had been given a box of ashes days after Doris' death. The FBI discovered that the automobile industry used other donors as crash test dummies. Stephen Gore was sentenced to one year in prison and four years probation, ordered to pay $100,000 in restitution. Two groups were escorted out of the courtroom after demanding to know what happened to their loved ones remains.
