Exercise Is the Best Medicine for Health
Exercise has been coined the exercise paradox right so where exercise clearly is you know our best medicine our best form of prevention we want everyone to be doing physical activity. But in some individuals with these hard conditions it can actually increase their risk of a catastrophic event and that's why early detection becomes very important through screening. Having said that I still think there are conditions out there where universally the medical community will discourage athletes from continuing playing competitive sports or perhaps draw that line in the sand and disqualify them. The one that to me still stands above the bar with too high a risk is a rhythmogenic cardiomyopathy which causes lethal arrhythmias but also disease progression.
