We see judas struggling with greed, which is also one of the temptations that jesus experienced. I think maybe that language feels a little intense to us, but all of us can think of the times in our own lives where the enemy has whispered something into our ear and we have done it. And we see just a tiny bit of that, perhaps, as you're suggesting, in the tell-all passage about the woman lavishly annointn jesus body.
