Mark's Antithesis of Fixed Capital
You write that marks anticipated this, and that it follows very much from his identification of fixed capital as objectified labor. What did mark see taking shape in the nineteenth century, and how is what is happening to day fundamentally different? We should always recognize that it's something that's been appropriated and in itself. This is the other attitude towards machinetht that marks shared with several others,. which is that machines don't, in themselves, have to be used the way they are being used.
