Earnings Are What Matters
Q4 reporting season kicks off in just over 12 hours with JPMorgan Bank of America City results due out before the bell tomorrow. Earnings are what matters and earnings are going to disappoint, says Jamie Diamond. Tim Lister: I think we've had a 5.5% run since December 28th but how can consensus be right if everybody's calling for a devastating end of the first quarter? He adds that retail investors have a lot of protection out there that they've taken.
