Dollar cost averaging is definitely something that can help and can work. It also does help even out some of the ebbs and flows of the market. Having a small group of friends that I can rely on to me is an easier way to go. The price to cash is in there more as a safeguard than it is like, okay, I'm going to get a really well price to cash and get a really quick return.
