The Effects of Polyamorous Relationships on Jealousy

Jealousy is an emotion that is elicited when you perceive a threat to a valued relationship. People who are consensually non-monogamous tended to report lower levels of what's called emotional jealousy, according to the study. In polyamorous relationships, people may be doing something to reduce their level of hot, fiery, reactive jealousy.
