Mary martin's is a private investigator. Mat knew next to nothing about Imet joan maybe two or three times total. Joan had her own secrets that she hadn't even revealed to kit at the time of their marriage. Kit told mary he'd never abuse joan or her kids too. Mary tracked him down, and he denied ever being violent. And then what i find out even more interesting, is that there was no domestic violence, but that there they were still married. In other words, joan was a bigamist.
