Is There a Symmetry Between Value Created and Value Captured?
There's a symmetry between value created and value captured with legacy business models. People do feel like the right values are being rewarded, but we don't have good mechanisms for collectively determining our values. One of things i've noticed is that people a public goods are kind of like, out of sight, out of mind. I want open sorso ware that allows me to better reflect my values or my, i want my soft ware that i use every day to better reflects my values. And so i think there's a nice symmetry there.
