What's the Difference Between Mixed Use and Mixed Use?
In Japan, their national system of zoning, it's done at a national level and there's 18 levels of zoning for the whole country. In something like one city like in New York, you might have three to four thousand different zoning designations because there's so many little special individual districts that are carved out for this one building. And they do in lots of European countries. Like I was in Germany over the summer, most things are mixed use and then there's high density residential and low density residential, but even then it's still mixed use. That's pretty much it. But we, where's like in America, we've got like 18 to 50 different zones at any given time
