Ego, the Border That Separates Us From Others
Ego is the membrane that makes every drop think it's separate from the other drops in the ocean. Ego can go in two directions: I'm so great and therefore, someone should love me or I'm worthless and no one's going to love me. When you have these moments of authentic love with someone, that's when the ceases to be a you and them. It's kind of like you melt into each other.
