Is Your Rule of Life a Good Idea?
If your rule of life does not take into account, but also find a way to ruthlessly eliminate digital distraction, it will likely fail. The odds are that your phone alone, much less your computer or your TV or all the other stuff, will sabotage all of our best intentions. That is my deep conviction based in part on my experience as a pastor and working with all sorts of wonderful people from across the spectrum of human variation.
