How to Find Your Lilt in Poetry
i've personally memorized king lee's heath speech simply from repeated exposure with almost no effort it's because i've reread it so many times and there are so many hooks onto emotional memories for me. Each reading is different reflecting the reader in a Shakespearean sonnet one line will have one word waited more than others which is the correct one to wait well that's up to you that depends on you right now. You know instinctively in your gut why are you pausing there why are you waiting that word if you don't as you read through the poem that's what you're trying to do and it's such a fun experience it really is.
