I tried to get myself arrested before and then by the time it was the big rebellion in April, I thought, I really have got to do something which is going to get me arrested. It was quite nerve-wracking and it took quite a lot of courage and it took three failed attempts. People are locking on or using different methods if they really want to cause disruption. We in fact had the support of many NGOs who themselves did not want to do non-violence or were disobedience but were absolutely sympathetic.
