Introduction
On February 18, 1977 in Lagos, Nigeria, Fela Kuti had his home surrounded by the Nigerian army. There were about 60,000 people watching this scene. At that point, Fela had been a critic of the Nigerian government for about 15 years. He felt the politicians were all corrupt and didn't really care about the progress of Nigeria. Yene Anikul Lakhokucin is one of four hosts of a Nigerian TV show called Your View.
