Aan turing came up with it as a way of measuring how far computers have got in terms of intelligence. If you cannot tell then the two things are indistinguishable to you in that medium, then the computer is past the turring test. Where we're working on is a longer form so at the paragraph level, the computer stays coherent. That two or three paragraph can say pretty coherent. By the time you get to a full scientific paper, it's not really maintaining coherence. It still takes a lot of brain power to figure out why. But you know, yout can write a college admissions essay, tha, that will pass right now.
