Just a month before Mica’s death, old paperwork granting her husband the authority to make all medical decisions for her — including whether doctors fight for her life — was filed in the Horry County Register of Deeds Office.
Mandy and Liz break down what was happening with that power of attorney and point out small details that could be revealing a larger truth about Pastor JP Miller’s mindset and his attitude toward Mica.

For decades, JP’s father was seen as a big player in the world of evangelists until a series of alleged sexual transgressions — as well as a very serious federal conviction for allegedly 'enslaving' bible college students — began to destroy his legacy. As Wayne Miller’s career took another hit in 2006, JP’s church came to life.
