Self compassion is an unmindful self-compassion programme. It involves letting go of what doesn't serve you, and using physical touch to release tension in your body. The author says that once we have a good enough ego it's almyst like chopping wood or carrying water. And so we need to continue the practice of self care - especially for ourselves.
