Watercress - The First Stage

Watercress is known botanically as nasturtium officinale. The best time to harvest watercress is when it gets to about 20 centimetrs. If you are looking to add some peppery zing to a salad, why not give water cress a try? And if the name rings a belli because there are a few plants named after her,. A favourite of mine is hardy plumbago stigmaate wilum which has lovely blue flowers.
