I Don't Think People Deserve to Be Punished
Greg Caruso: Punishments are purposeful infliction of harm or burdens for the sake of condemning a wrongdoer. He says we do not treat people who spread disease as being at fault and deserving of punishment. "When you deserve something, people ought to see that you get it," he says.
