The Deep Groaning of Intercession

I've heard testimonies of people, you know, they say they prayed through the salvation of a family member for 30 years or so forth. And there's a guy, one of the guys had an affliction for 38 years. And I had Romans 826, deep groanings of intercession, the whole verse. But here we are 30 years later and 35 years later and they haven't been answered. Could you enlighten me?
