Africa's Termye - Is That True?

In two thousand 12 i invested a chunk of my retirement in a mutual fund dedicated to companies listed on the african stockinaway. And it turns out that in the last nine years, my index fund is down 30 %. So then, having done that, i lookd information on g d p per capita growth in africaand maybe i misread the data, but it looked terrible. It looked like the last decade in africa has been a disaster. Is that not true? There's certainly a long way to goy.
