Is It a Form of Detachment?
The pretence that i can be impartial is a profound piece of self deception. Detachment is a form of detachment, though it may not be the same attitude as that of an active participant. To say that i stand on the idjeos effact, the merely describe y a mere observer. The notion that truth to play no part, that i can merely observe, merely record, merely described, is, for thinkers of this school, impossible. It's a form of withdrawal, if you like, a form of cowardice.
