The AI Aspect of the Bargaining Dispute
Both SAG and the WGA are concerned with AI, but the issue works somewhat differently. The writers don't want AI to replace them; the actors may be comfortable with some replacement as long as they're compensated for it. My sense though, and maybe it's a little bit cynical, is that the studios love AI being an issue on this one because that's something they may be willing to give on in exchange for other stuff.
