My Segal Networks, They Live in Their Environment

Mushrooms have a biological role at spore dispersal. Unlike us, unlike animals that have a bilateral body plan there is nothing like that in the micelial network. There's no head, no brain, there's no heart. But my segal networks,. they coordinate themselves somehow, everywhere at once, and nowhere in particular. They do so in ways that we are still trying to understand. The fungus can integrate these different data streams and decide on a suitable course of action.
