Informational Paganism and Religion in an Age of Information Superabundance
i wonder if you could kind of think of religion in an age of informational superabundance along two dimensions. There would be like informational monotheism and informational pagan s, right? Where the problem that a religious approach to informationsuperabundance is trying to confront is that there's just a frightening amount of it. So much of what we're trying to do is actually go back. I'm sympathetic to that argument. But i get the sense that there is something going on right now that is bringing us back to these old ideas.
