Using AI to Create Racist Deep Fake Celebrities
Two days ago, tech startup 11 Labs launched the beta version of its new tool, PrimeVoiceAI. This feature gives users the ability to create synthetic voices for text to speech audio or to clone somebody's voice. The company revealed in a tweet that there has been an increasing number of voice cloning misused cases. Specifically online tools have been used to produce and generate voices that sound like Joe Rogan, Ben Shapiro, Emma Watson making racist and transphobic comments.
