Introduction
At least 70 people were arrested as police closed in on demonstrators. Truck drivers from all over the country had descended on ottawa to rail against coverd restrictions. The freedom convoy, as they called themselves, occupied the city centre with street parties and a chorus of honking day and night. They were furious with canada's coved laws and withcanada's prime minister, justin trudo.
