The Importance of Women's Clothing in Pregnancy
Pregnant with her third child, Susan felt pressure from family and church leaders to have another baby. She stopped wearing garment bottoms near the end of her first trimester when pain from varicose veins became unbearable. If women were involved in high-level decisions regarding garments, they would be so different if not non-existent at this point because they are fundamentally incompatible with the basic functions and realities of female reproduction.
