Designing for Disabled People

Disabled people are often made pretty invisible by the societies that we live in. We need to stop thinking about disabled people's needs as being somehow different from our own, because they're not. The social model is one of the models that is probably is most popular at the moment. And i think that is a particularly good way of thinking about it. You are designing for disable people too. Not only because you're taking their perspective, and my honors your way of designing,. but also because that actually puts the onus on you to make sure that you accommodate their needs.
