The Stoic View of the Highest Human Good

Stoic view is thought to be more sophisticated and interesting than the Epicurean view. He's allowed to make comparative judgement, he's allowed to think that one theory is more plausible than another. And I think it would be sort of taking things a bit too far for me to suggest that if you would ask Cicero, Stoicism or Epicureanism, give me a one word answer, I think it will be Stoicism. It does come out in this that he has a lot less time for the Epicureans.
