How to Cross Burma-Butra River?
My task was to get behind the enemy, trap him there and then we have a para drop at a place called Tangayal. Then you link up with them and move on to Dhaka. Pakistanis never expected that a force will come in from here. I had to cross the Burma-Butra river. There's no bridge on the Burma- Butra river. And to cross a river, take your whole battalion across and thenget behind the enemy. My area was to take my battalion from the most unexpected route into Dhaka.
