There was a recent paper by Murray Shanahan from DeepMind about how do we talk about what large language models are doing. The limitations of not having experienced these things in the real world. That's perhaps something that won't be solved until these systems can actually ground this language in something real and it might be an image, or a video or something else that's online, or virtual reality environment. But it seems it has to go beyond language itself. Yes, and this again returns to this question of is the imitation good enough.
