Is Man Godlike?

In the first chapter of Genesis, man is said to have been created in the image of God. But it doesn't say when he created man that he saw that it was good. To fully realize the possibility that's advertised in our being Godlike, man is a dangerous animal. The very powers that make man like God are powers that can make him fall below perfection.
