When i listen to an awful lot of people who are struggling with christian identity right now, what i hear them saying is that the answers the christian faith gave me were unsatisfactory. The number one question that i was asked by my christian upbringing was, how do i go to heaven when i die? And i realize that's really not the question that anybody in the bible was asking. So another big thing for me with thomas merton and the anti-nuclear war movement is there is a way to live up to our experiential salvation which we can only get if we share it with other people.
