The Future of Carbon Sequestration
We need to think about direct air capture and sequestration of carbon through technical and also through biologic means. Direct our capture is to mechanically remove c o two from the atmosphere. It would be a big industry. The technologies are understood. They're trying to improve them. Right now it costs perhaps a a hundred dollars, basically, of electricity, but also materials. And so draw c o two down and either inject it into the ground or use it for building materials or put it in your bubbly - I don't see any harm in it.
