The Fed's Dollar Liquidity Crisis
The Fed has maxed out the cap of a single counterpart. It probably means that local players, local banks need dollar liquidity to a certain extent. And therefore, this is probably the reason why we here on Friday where we record see this turmoil resurfacing in markets. Andreas: I think it's very much linked to this surprise move from the balance sheet that some probably major non-western central bank took up a lot of dollar liquidity yesterday. That could be a signal of stress.
