What Are Your Thoughts on Melanie Peckett?
Melanie was a model inmate and she was excited to get back home to her family. "I can't tell you enough, it was the biggest mistake of my life," said Melanie Peckett after being freed from prison in 2008. She came to me and her fear was more palpable than anything else I can remember. And there is a quote in the book written by Christian Frederick Hebel, a German poet, who said, genuine tragedies in the world are not conflicts between right and wrong. They are conflicts between two rights."
