Is There a Value in Life of Having an Enemy?
I asked jon peterson whether there is a value in life of having a nemesis, some one, some one or something that motivates you. I think with envy, it's an interrogation of what you value rather than a clarification of it. We e ti eleses take onth this notion of nemesis. Why do so many stories pit the hero against the nemesis? Because what is withit? The narrative function of that nemesis are to present an obstacle in the way of a goal. It can be clarified. There's not a lot of positive, pretty useless e but, but envy can be clarifying.
