Kenny g is on somewhere in the pop jaz instrumentals, easy listening, smooth, jas. He plays it a in a way that i would say is outside of the tradition of jaz. I wouldn't put him on if i were my child down the aisle. There's a sacran aspect to his music that offends people who don't like sachrin. Music critics have never liked schmaltz.

They discuss the pursuit of perfection, the power of vulnerability in art, and why Kenny G is loved by the people and reviled by the critics.
