There's a lot of correlation between the amount of time you spend while you're still working preparing for retirement and how successful your retirement is. I'm not regretful that I retired at 55 instead of 54, but I could have retired realistically if I would have been more aggressive earlier in my career. It's important to enjoy the journey as you're living it as well so we took nice vacations with my daughter she had frequent flyer miles so we go to Europe. These are the best years of my life.
