People will like you based on how you make them feel about themselves. Give people honest compliments and that is a tremendous way of building bridges. If I want to pay somebody a compliment, it's because I mean it and I want them to feel good. And the same thing with giving gifts, by the way, if I give somebody a gift, I am giving that person a gift because I wants them to feel appreciated in some way or to whatever it is.
