The Ghost of Sherlock Holmes

The homosexual detective represents the kind of recuperation of the scapegoat by an apparently homophobic society. So it's a good scapegoat, which is really telling because you've got like Dr. Conan Doyle, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is a doctor too. And then you also have Holmes himself living with his sidekick, but they're solving crimes. He's doing all these strange things, but in order to do he's doing that in order to live a life under without suspicion. Like there's a reason why he's doing it. I love it.
