The Top Line Defense Budget

The U.S. is spending about 850 billion on defense, according to a new report from the Department of Defense. That's more than any other country in the world and far exceeds what China or Russia are doing with their own military budgets. President Barack Obama has said that he will seek congressional approval for an additional $100 billion over the next two years if Congress doesn't act soon.
