Advanced Surface Design Rather Than Light to Screw Over the Necessary Bacteria

Researchers at Stony Brook University used self-assembling polymers to create these periodic nanostructures that are called nanopillars. This is what's causing the bacteria to kind of like freak out and just basically die when they touch it. Even though the nano-pillars height is short, the bacteria still automatically died. Also unexpectedly, we didn't see any absorption on the surface, so it's self-cleaning.
