How to Improve Self Confidence

David Frum: Dale Carnegie's advice on how to win friends and influence people is kind of like handing a loaded pistol to a drunken chimpanzee. He says the book teaches an overly ritualized rule-based approach that doesn't make sense today. Frum: Americans are the ones who needed less self confidence. A couple more hangouts would be nice.
