The Importance of Animal Welfare in the UK
I was brought up surrounded by dogs. Most of the animals in the UK are treated with great respect and love. In this country, we have very strict standards and rules when it comes to animal welfare. If somebody is seen to be mistreating an animal in any way, then they will be reported. You could even end up going to prison and facing criminal charges for mistreating animals.
