Eric Liu: It's possible for us to create a world where everyone can learn these skills and share in the prosperity. The good news is that for most of the past couple hundred years, technology was a rising tide that lifted most boats,. But unfortunately, we've seen a divergence with productivity continuing to grow but median wages stagnating. America has been falling behind on those dimensions by just about every metric. We need to not simply invest more in education, we also need to reinvent education if we want to close that kind of gap.
